A Fine Romance . . . and tea
No wonder the British take their tea seriously, it is wonderful! At AM bookgroup this week our hostess, Priscilla, treated us to tea. The literary selection talked about Britain and tea and so she took up the challenge (A Fine Romance by Susan Branch).
After reviewing the book we were treated to a proper tea featuring: finger sandwiches on brown and white bread, delicious scones (made with cream), trifle for desert, and tea. It was delightful.
Wherever you were, if you weren't with us, be jealous.
